Meet Pastor Chris Roberds

Hey, I'm Chris, the lead pastor here at The Venues.

Wherever you're coming from, new to Springfield, rebuilding your relationship with faith, or just genuinely curious, you're welcome here. No prerequisites.

We're a community that takes faith seriously and takes doubt seriously. For us, those aren't opposites. The questions are part of the point.

We're fully affirming and inclusive — not as a tagline, but as a real posture. We care about justice, curiosity, and honest conversation. You don't have to believe anything specific to show up. You just have to be willing to show up.

If you're ready to visit: We're at 2616 E. Battlefield, Sundays at 10am. Come as you are. We're done within an hour, the coffee's good, and after service I'm almost always in the lobby, come find me.
